Kick off Christmas with our Hope Rescue Festive Waggy Walk
Get into the holiday spirit with our Festive Waggy Walk around beautiful Barry Island. Join our Hope team for an afternoon filled with festive cheer and Christmas magic.
Registration for the event is £8 per dog including a free doggy bandana, humans go free! So dig out your Christmas jumpers and bring family and friends along to enjoy this great fundraising event.
Arrive at 1pm to get signed in and then we'll head out from Whitmore Bay on Barry Island (by the colourful beach huts) at around 2pm, walking a picturesque three mile circular walk. Taking in the breathtaking views from the clifftops as we head out to sandy Jacksons Bay. The walk will continue on solid paths and sand for three miles, finishing up where we started.
We encourage each dog (and their humans) to fundraise for Hope Rescue's work as part of the event. If you raise £50 then you can claim a limited addition Hope Rescue fleece headband!
You'll also be able to buy some of our delicious homemade doggy deli treats, hand made crafts and warm up with a hot drink.
