Festive Printmaking Workshop

Join us for the morning or afternoon of fun, creative sessions at Drylaw Neighbourhood Centre.

Monotype is known as the most painterly method among the printmaking techniques and as only one impression is made with a monotype the work you create is a unique work on paper. Together we will experiment with the monotype processes, learn about both additive and subtractive methods of applying paint and using brush-work needed for representation of various natural textures, as well as using actual plants as stencils to create multilayered and multicoloured monotypes.
