Hello everyone,
The next Nether Edge market will be held on Sunday 07 December 2025, from 11:00 to 15:00. This festive community event will host approximately 70-80 stalls selling an excellent range of local produce, including hot and cold foods, drinks and crafts.
Local Nether Edge shops and businesses will be open: Wickwire, Oxfam, Zeds Wholefoods, Kollective Kitchen, St Luke's Boutique, Bench (Bistro food and wine), Yamato Sushi, Nether Edge Bowling Club, The Byron pub and Cafe#9.
Market Entertainment Programme (specific times and performances may change):
1) 11:30 Nether Edge School Choir
2) 12:00 Salvation Army Band
3) 12:45 Endcliffe Brass
4) 13:15 Handsworth Sword Dancers (2 teams)
5) 14:00 Jacapella (singers)
6) 14:30 Fairy Cakes (band)
Stall fee proceeds from this market will be donated to the following beneficiaries:
1) Heeley City Farm: "Founded in 1981, Heeley City Farm is a community-focused urban farm, charity, and visitor attraction right in the heart of Sheffield. We connect people with nature through education, training, and inclusive programmes that help everyone learn, grow, and thrive together" (https://www.heeleyfarm.org.uk/)
2) Food Works: "What We Do. We upcycle quality surplus and locally grown ingredients into delicious food and drink in our Community Cafes. The food we create is also used in our Just Meals ready meals. We collect and share surplus food at our Food Markets. We develop hyperlocal food production through community growing on our Farm. We empower people with skills, knowledge and support in our community with volunteering opportunities across all our sites" (https://thefoodworks.org/)
Please note that Nether Edge Road (between Sheldon Road and Byron Road) and Glen Road (between Nether Edge Road and Ashland Road) will be closed to traffic between 9:00 and 17:00 on Sunday 07 December 2025. If you usually park in this area, we kindly request that you find an alternative space. Parked cars not may not be moved whilst the market is in progress.

There is a fee of £60 for stalls selling food produce or £45 for non-food stalls. Alternatively, we provide the option to apply for a shared stall with another trader at just £22.50. All stall holders must hold appropriate business/trading insurance.
