Join us for a special festive workshop.
Artist and Maker Lindsey Stevenson will be on hand to give tips on the art of needle felting, so you can create the perfect gift or a unique decoration. No previous felting experience is necessary.
The workshops take place in the Making Studios in the science centre – a lovely environment with Christmas deccies aplenty and a wonderful view of Gaia, our massive, glowing planet Earth. Needle felting uses a long, thin needle which has a series of notches at its tip. When you poke it into and out of the wool, these notches tangle the fibers of the wool together, and the wool will start to feel firmer and form a shape.
This is a lovely alternative festive night out for adults. No previous experience of needle felting is required.
All materials and tools included plus a complimentary glass of fizz, mulled wine, beer or a soft drink.
Due to the bespoke nature of this workshop, capacity is limited. Book early to avoid disappointment.
