Start the festive season with a cosy collage session 🎄
Join artist Maja Lorkowska-Callaghan for a relaxing, hands-on workshop where you can make your own Christmas cards, gift tags or just play with collage to create your own artwork.
What to expect:
Settle in, grab a drink, and browse the table full of paper wonders. You’ll be briefly guided through the general concepts of collage, different styles and compositions and we’ll take a look at some festive examples to get you started.
There will be a large collection of vintage cards, festive and metallic papers, fashion and retro magazines, vintage books and much more for you to browse through.
Blank cards and gift tags will be available but we'll also have lots of plain and coloured paper for anyone who just wants to make collages for fun (it doesn't have to be festive either!)
You can cut, rip and play with what you find. It’s all about giving you the chance to get familiar with, and enjoy, the process! And, of course, you'll be taking your wonderful creations home with you.
This workshop is for all levels - no previous experience is necessary to enjoy the beauty of collage ✂️
Practical info:
- All materials will be provided.
- The workshop is for ages 16+ due to health and safety. Left-handed scissors will be available.
- Food and drinks will be available to purchase from the venue bar throughout the workshop.
- Photo consent: I occasionally snap photos during the session to feature on social media and promotional materials. If you'd rather stay camera-free, just let me know on the day or send me an email in advance.
