Create your own natural soap ready for the Christmas season using traditional methods in this mini workshop at Abbey House.
Using plant-based ingredients and a range of essential oils blends, you will learn the techniques of traditional soap making and craft your own loaf of soap which will cut into 8-10 bars of loveliness - perfect for Christmas gifts!
There is a choice of festive recipes to choose from as well as a range of popular essential oils blends, including:
Geranium & Patchouli
Lavender & Rosemary
Winter germ buster
Lemon & Black Pepper
Orange & Cedar
You can then choose to colour and decorate your soap with a wide variety of clays, spices and botanicals.
£55 per person. All ingredients, soap making, safety equipment and workshop notes are provided.
You will need to bring:
An apron
A pen
A cardboard box big enough to hold a tetra pack (fruit juice/long life milk carton)
An old beach towel or blanket to take your box home in
