Join us at Holkham for a relaxed and festive day exploring the art of block printing. Whether you’re a complete beginner or looking to build on your skills, this hands-on workshop is a chance to slow down, get creative and take home your festive craft.
We’ll begin with a range of ready-made blocks and guide you through inking and printing techniques to design your own beautiful wrapping paper, gift tags and cards. Later in the day, we’ll move on to printing on fabric using tote bags and tea towels.
You’ll also have the chance to design and carve your own printing block, learning what makes a strong pattern and how to create simple repeats. And the best bit? You’ll take your carved block home to use again and again!
