About this Event

Nepal is facing another difficult period as heavy rains continue to cause flooding, landslides, and other disasters across the country. Communities are still recovering from the devastating floods earlier this year, while new weather related emergencies are affecting families and communities once again.

Join us for a special screening of Festivals, an award winning documentary series by Nepali filmmaker Jaswant Dev Shrestha. The series takes viewers into the heart of Nepal’s festivals, traditions, stories, beliefs, and cultural celebrations, offering an authentic look at the country’s rich and diverse cultural heritage.

Jaswant Dev Shrestha became the first Nepali filmmaker to win an Emmy Award.

The event is free and open to everyone. Come enjoy the film, learn about Nepal’s cultural traditions, connect with the community, and spend an evening celebrating the richness of Nepali culture.

HELP NEPAL

The screening also provides an opportunity to support people affected by the disasters in Nepal. Donations are completely optional and appreciated.
