St John's children’s and adult choirs and instrumentalists present festive music of Advent and Christmas in this historic service, as the nativity story is read by members of the community. Featuring choral music of Brewer, Near, Rutter, Carter, and others, the congregation will join in the great hymns and carols of the season.
Arrive early at 4.30 for a preservice concert of Advent/Christmas/Celtic music performed by Gabrielle Bronzich on the Celtic harp.
A reception follows in the parish hall.
