We are looking forward to seeing you and your friends at one of the Morongo Basin’s favorite holiday traditions, the annual Festival of Wreaths at Copper Mountain College. We have gotten fairly proficient at pivoting for events and while we are planning for a November 21, 2021 grand holiday celebration and live auction in the Bell Center gymnasium, we will remain flexible!! Doors open at 2 pm with live auction beginning at 3 pm with Auctioneer Kim Ortamond, USMC (ret). Tickets are $10 at the door or can be purchased from Foundation staff and board members.
In addition to our live auction of wreaths, centerpieces and trees there will be a silent auction , raffle wreath and the popular dessert auction. And this year we have added an ornament tree to the event – displaying handmade ornaments for sale for $10/each.
Your support helps Copper Mountain College students with books, technology, upgraded labs and facilities. We use these donations for the Hunger Free Campus program, KC Special, to give free bus rides on MBTA to school and to keep our childcare center open adjacent to the campus. College looks different nowadays, but the needs are still here. And the opportunity to help a college student is greater than ever. We hope you will play along.
