About this Event

As part of the 2024 Festival of Tomorrow, we have teamed up with local comic Sam Michael for a comedy night with a scientific element!

We have 3 comics, mixing comedy with science, featuring Robin Ince, star of BBC Radio 4’s

Infinite Monkey Cage. A legend of the stand up comedy circuit and no stranger to the world of science, Robin will be our headliner for the evening supported by two up and coming acts…

Jon Matthews: Jon uses his knowledge of science and chemistry and applies them to jokes! He’ll be kicking of the evening with some comedy guaranteed to make you helium, helium, helium (He, He, He)

Matt Hobs: Matt is a comedian who’s obsessed with space, not all of space mind, mainly the moon! Matt took a show to the Edinburgh Fringe all about the Moon Landings and the many stories from the Apollo missions the history books forget to teach us in School!

Hosted by Sam Michael, a local comic and GCSE Science E certificate holder (you can’t have it all!)

Join us for a great night for comedy and science fans alike!

Doors open at 7.30PM for an 8PM start.

WARNING: This event is aimed at an 18+ audienc and may include strong language and adult themes

A bar will be available.
