Are farmers unfairly blamed for climate change? IFA President Francie Gorman and Kevin Collins debate climate action and rural Ireland.
About this Event

Climate change affects everyone, but are we having the right conversations about how to tackle it? Are farmers being unfairly blamed for Ireland's environmental challenges? Is rural Ireland getting a fair hearing? And how do we balance the need for climate action with protecting livelihoods, communities and the economy?

Francie Gorman, President of the Irish Farmers' Association, joins documentary filmmaker and researcher Kevin Collins, whose work examines energy policy, climate change and the real-world consequences of government decisions.
With agriculture, the environment and the future of rural Ireland all up for discussion, Sacred Cows promises an engaging and thought-provoking debate that goes beyond the usual headlines and asks what practical solutions might look like.

Over 18s only. 16 and 17 year olds welcome when accompanied by an adult.
