Please mark your calendars to join us on October 16 to celebrate our cultural diversity during our annual Festival of Nations. To ensure your safety, we have re-imagined the event, and rather than being potluck-style as it has been in the past, we are encouraging families to pack their own picnic. In lieu of food, we request that families bring prepackaged snacks and knick-knacks to share with the community representing their heritage. There will be different stations representing different continents where the prepackaged snacks and knick-knacks will be handed out. The event will also feature music, games, presentations, and performances from our community members and partners.
We are seeking volunteers to help with the event, and underwriting opportunities are also available if you are unable to contribute your time. We remain vigilant with regard to COVID-19 safety and if circumstances require, we will pivot to a parade-style event. All contributions will be utilized in either scenario and are greatly appreciated!
