During the Berkhamsted Festival of Light, come into St Peter's Church lit up by thousands of candles. Experience the beauty of this historic building which has stood on the High Street for 800 years. If you wish, light a candle prayerfully, or simply wander around and enjoy the peace and stillness. FREE entry, donations welcome.
Mulled wine and hot chocolate will be on sale outside the church in special souvenir mugs designed by local artist Tabitha Raincloud.
After the festival, there will be a service of Advent Carols by candlelight at 7pm. It doesn't matter if you are not a churchgoer or very religious - everyone is welcome at St Peter's. Our doors are open for you.
