‼️💡🎊 LOOK OUT YOUR GLOW STICKS AND GET INVOLVED 🎊💡‼️
Our popular Festival of Light Parade is back! This parade departs Irvine Townhouse at 9.00pm and makes its way through Irvine Cross, High Street, Eglinton Street and Kilwinning Road to arrive at Carrick Drive, Irvine Moor.
Come along and witness this spectacular procession as it makes it way from the Town Centre to Irvine Moor.
💡💡💡💡💡💡💡💡
The parade arrives at 9:25pm to Irvine Moor where there will be a Family Evening of entertainment which starts at 8.00pm, including family fun for all with the Marymass Roadshow, stalls, shows, music and food.
🎊🎊🎊🎊🎊🎊🎊🎊
Then, the evening culminates with our spectacular Fireworks Display at 9.45pm approx, one of the highlights of the festival!
We want everyone to get involved! Bring along anything light up and walk in our parade. From local bands to community groups, teams, families, kids or individuals, bring your glow sticks, light up costumes, umbrellas, anything you have! The more light, colour and sound, the better!
Please note this is a family friendly parade and all children should be accompanied by an adult. Our parade is non-motorised, so everyone taking part should be on foot or pedal bike.
A great place to catch the parade is at Irvine Cross, Turf Corner or Kilwinning Road at Carrick Drive.
This event is very popular and there is no parking available on site due to police restrictions. Carrick Drive will be closed to traffic on the evening. Parking is available at nearby Irvine Royal Academy on the night with closer disabled parking at the car wash at the junction with Carrick Drive/Kilwinning Road.
Please use bus where possible, with services departing up to 1 hour after the event to most surrounding areas.
