St Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Cathedral | Chicago, IL

Come and listen to beautiful carols sung by the St. Ignatius Choir and Orchestra, Lithuanian, Polish and Ukrainian choirs, as well be surrounded by the melodious sounds of the bandura, performed by the Chicago Bandura Ensemble. Each country has its own rich musical heritage, and hearing carols from different regions can be a gratifying way to appreciate the varied expressions of joy and devotion associated with the holiday season.
Carols convey a universal sense of wonder and awe, celebrating the birth of Christ in different cultural contexts. The power of music to transcend language and convey the spirit of the season is truly special. Enjoy the beauty of the carols and the cultural tapestry they represent! Proceeds will go to UMANA, Illinois for medical equipment to Ukraine.
