Did you know we have a small but very enthusiastic group of archaeologists in the EEI?
We are very excited to host Hull’s Festival of Archaeology Day on Friday 24 July 2026 on the University of Hull campus. This is part of the UK wide Festival of Archaeology organised annually by ArchaeologyUK. For the event we are bringing together the local heritage and archaeology organisations that we work with including Hull Maritime, Humber Field Archaeology, Rewilding Youth and East Riding Archaeological Society
The event will take place at Lesley Downs in the Ferens Building on the University of Hull campus. It is free and there is no need to book - just turn up and join in the fun!
