The 5K Walk & Run will be exclusively virtual components, with runners able to complete a 5K route of their choosing then upload their finishing time and route details to our event site between Monday, 8/2/21 and Sunday, 8/22/21. Walkers are invited to complete their 5K walk during the same timeframe and we would love to share photos from your route on our Facebook page! (Since walkers do not compete for time, you will not need to upload your route and time to the race site.)On Saturday, 8/21/21 we will host an in-person Festival at Cheesman Park in Denver, Colorado from 9am – 1pm. This socially distanced, outdoor event will include display of panels from the AIDS Memorial Quilt, a ceremonial walk around the park (not a full 5K), the 10th annual Diva Dash, a refreshment garden, and informational booths from partner agencies and vendors.
