A group of children are preserving their heritage language through an innovative theatre community program. They have been gathering each week for a Maltese language lesson with a difference. While learning a family language might sound like a typical activity, the way these children are learning is anything but ordinary – they’re rehearsing and performing in a children’s musical.
Spooky Party is the name of the show, and the creative force behind this unique blend of education and entertainment is professional performer and educator Maria Cauchi Simpson, an original cast member of The Phantom of the Opera, Anything Goes and Disney Live.
