Join Latitude 29 for an amazing paddleboarding adventure to Fort Clinch and to the edge of Cumberland Island.Our adventure starts at Dee Dee Bartles Boat Ramp where we will splash the Paddleboards and catch the outgoing tide to Fort Clinch and the surrounding beaches.
A beautiful paddle where sightings of Dolphins are common, and dodging an occasional Nuclear Submarine out of Kings Bay.
At the beach we will forage for Sharks Teeth and other treasures brought on by the Storm.
Cumberland Island National Seashore Representatives forbid us to bring paying customers onto Cumberland Island, for we do not have a Commercial Usage Authorization (we are working on it) ..but in the meantime, our guides/ crew will teach you and show you where to cross so you can paddleboard or Kayak yourself and with friends on future adventures (you can even rent one of ours).
We will take you to the edge of Cumberland Island; again we are not allowed to foray into dry land of Cumberland Island ...but will be able to take a break in the shallow waters along the shoreline.
