Get ready for an exhilarating adventure in Boulder, Colorado! Join us for the Fern Canyon hike, a 4.8-mile out-and-back route with 1,753 feet of elevation gain that promises to be a booty burner. This challenging trail will test your strength and stamina, but the stunning canyon views and the sense of accomplishment you'll feel at the summit will make it all worthwhile.

This event is exclusively for women who love outdoor adventures and want to connect with others who share the same passion for hiking. Whether you're a seasoned hiker or just looking to enjoy the beauty of nature, this event is for you!

When: Sunday, April 6th, 2025, at 10:00 AM
Where: NCAR Trailhead, 1850 Table Mesa Dr, Boulder, CO 80305
Hike Overview: 4.8 miles with 1,753 feet of elevation gain
Difficulty: Moderate to Challenging

Itinerary:
We will meet at the NCAR trailhead at 10:00 AM, where we’ll do a quick round of introductions, check gear, and then hit the trail as soon as everyone is ready to go.

Packing List:

• Sturdy Hiking Boots
• Microspikes (some spots may be icy on this trail!)
• Backpack
• Layers for spring temperatures (base layers, light jacket, hat, gloves, scarf)
• Trekking Poles
• Water and snacks

Weather: No matter what the weather has in store, we're ready to hike! Only the most extreme conditions would make us reconsider. Come prepared for any adventure that the weather might bring!
