Join us as we delve into the world of food fermentation, looking at 4 different techniques!
EXPLORE
Come and join Paula for a celebration of all things fermented, we will learn all about fermented food and drinks.
This is a great time of the year, with the wild garlic out in full force around Get Pickled HQ and you will have chance to gather some to add to your very own ferments we will be making on the day.
TASTE
Includes a deliciously fermented plant based lunch. And acces to Paula's famous fermetation fridge, and unique opportunity to savour some of her favourite ferments.
LEARN
What is happening in the jar, why fermentation is so good for your gut and your taste buds, and, of course, how to make your own ferments. We will talk about culinary used of our ferments and how to incorporate them in your everyday life.
MAKE
You will make your very own jar of kimchi/sauerkraut, a sesonal fermented condiment. We will explore the amazing benefits of milk kefir and learn how to make it home, safely. Finally we will delve into the world of wild sodas, like ginger beer and tepache.
After the workshop, you will return home with four jars of your new ferments to develop at home, with support from Paula and the Get Pickled WhatsApp group.
