About this Event
Lily's Cafe and Bar is super excited to collaborate with The Ferm and Trampoline for Rebecca Ghim's Fermentation and Feminism workshop on the 8th of November!
• 18:00 - 19:00: Presentation about theorising the ways fermentation taps into the currents within critical and creative feminist practices.
• 19:00 - 19:30: Discussion and Q&A.
• 19:30 - 20:00: Tasting session for The Ferm's Korean kimchi and pickles.
From our host for the evening, Rebecca:
"If you're a fermentor who'd like to dive deeper into symbiosis, coevolution and more, please come along to learn about the theory behind it all. It will be a heart-warming and stimulating collective experience to explore how fermentation can be used as a metaphor amongst artists all over the world to preserve and transform through a microbial process."
Tickets for the event can be bought here, as there'll only be a limited number of tickets available on the door.
*Lily's is a queer women-first space for lesbians, bisexuals and women loving women that is inclusive of and supported by the lovely LGBTQ+ community and their amazing allies.*
If you have any questions before or after the event, feel free to email us here: [email protected]
Join us if you're interested in feminism, fermentation, or you're just hungry!
