Feria de Cleveland

Info: The flamenco family of songs called Ida y vuelta are the round-trip songs and dances in flamenco that are heavily influenced by Afro-Latino musical styles. Abrepaso’s students from the Julia de Burgos Cultural Arts Center and our adult classes will perform colombianas, a flamenco style based on a Mexican song with rhythmic influence from Cuba. We’ll also have special guests Alberto Ramos Cordero and Micaela Colleen Barrett from the Cleveland Tango School performing and teaching a short lesson!

Info: Featuring performances by the Cleveland Classical Guitar Society along with traditional flamenco pieces, we’ll highlight Spain’s unique aesthetics within classical music. Our fashion competition will also take place during this hour.
