Fergus Jones
Fergus Jones is a Scottish artist living and working in Copenhagen. A producer and DJ lauded by Boomkat as “one of the underground’s key, if liminal, hyper-connectors,” he runs the label and event series FELT, which has released records by the likes of Civilistjävel!, Carrier & Dave Huis mans. Previously known as Perko, Jones released his acclaimed debut album ‘Ephemera’ on Numbers in 2024. Developed with collaborative energy as the creative priority, the album was produced by Jones alongside an extensive list of like-minded musicians, lyricists and vocalists, including Huerco S, James K, Koreless, Birthmark, ELDON and Withdrawn of Bristol’s Cold Light crew, Laila Sakini and Lia T. The album featured on numerous Best of 2024 lists by publications such as The Quietus, Phonica, Gorilla vs. Bear, and First Floor, with Pitchfork highlighting “Heima” as the year’s best trip-hop single and Resident Advisor recommending its “masterful storm of trip-hop, dub and downtempo
His productions, live performances, and DJ sets have taken him all over the world, with recent tours in countries like Japan, China and Australia.
