Femke Smit (1986) is from the Netherlands but sings Brazilian music as if she was born there. Maybe it was another life, maybe it's pure coincidence, but when she sings Brazilian music she feels at home. With her several projects (o.a. Cantorias, Roda da Holanda and a duo with pianist Mike del Ferro) she brings an important contribution to the Brazilian scene in the Netherlands. For the last 10 years she has been organizing one of the biggest monthly samba parties in The Netherlands with her project Roda da Holanda. Her abundant appearance and inviting and moving way of singing Samba make Femke a singer who really takes you with her on a musical journey.
