It’s perhaps the greatest Lakewood, Ohio-coded show of all time.
70 Lewis, the recently re-united progressive rock/pop outfit joins the stage with Washington DC funk rock/hip-hop group Femi and the Foundation (and former 70 Lewis bassist Al Rodriguez) for a night quite literally YEARS in the making.
Femi and the Foundation:
Imagine The Roots, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Living Colour colliding in one explosive live band. Meet Femi and the Foundation.
Based in Washington, DC, Femi and the Foundation deliver a sound that is raw, fearless, and infectiously unique. Blending funk, rock, hip-hop, R&B, and global influences, the band generates the groove of a dance party, the force of a rock show, and the curiosity of artists who refuse to stay in one lane.
The band has quickly become a standout presence in the DMV music scene, headlining and collaborating across some of the region’s most recognized venues.
Their debut album, Wrong Side of the Sun, earned the 2026 Wammie Award for Best Rock Album, cementing Femi and the Foundation as one of the DMV’s most exciting rising acts. Most recently they joined forces with the unmistakable voice of CJ Johnson of DC’s own funk-soul royalty Oh He Dead to release their latest song, “Feeling Right.”
70 Lewis:
70 Lewis is back and better than ever. Having just released their second studio album “The Briefcase” in Fall 2025, 70 Lewis has demonstrated an unsurprising return to form with catchy melodies, soaring harmonies, and hard hitting guitar riffs on full display.
Their latest release, “Devil,” combines the soulful voice of 70L frontman Mike Gray with the epic metal prowess of Cleveland’s own Chalice of Malice.
This is a show that connects everyone: LHS graduates, the Cleveland music scene, and all of the people who have been touched by the people in these groups and the music they’ve made.
Let’s have a hell of a time.
