Felt wall hanging

Join us to explore making a lovely felt wall hanging take the opportunity to create an inspired piece of art to go on your wall and cheer up a blank space! Focus on play in this wall hanging workshop. We’ll be using felt and a mix of fabrics and embroidery (don’t be scared if you’re new to embroidery, we’ll be keeping it super simple) to create textile collages we’ll be turning into wall hangings.
Feel free to have a think about what you might base your piece on, maybe a favourite memory or place, a song or a pattern, something that brings you joy - keep it as specific or abstract as you want! The goal is to have fun and flex those creative muscles whilst making a fun piece of art to take home.

Phil will be sharing her superb design skills to guide and support as we use our imaginations to compose the wall hangings, using a range of techniques including stitching and gluing.
