Feel the Rhythm of the Drums Festival

The 4th Annual Feel the Rhythm of the Drums International Festival 2026 is a family-friendly cultural celebration presented by Majekfingers Drumming School in New Orleans, Louisiana, on October 17, 2026, at Music Box Village.

With the theme "Every Rhythm Tells a Story," the festival brings together more than 100 artists and cultural performers from 14 countries to celebrate African, Afro-Caribbean, Guyanese, Caribbean, and New Orleans heritage through drumming, dance, music, storytelling, and traditional cultural expressions.

The festival will also feature hands-on drumming and dance workshops, cultural demonstrations, food, arts and crafts, face painting, and activities for children and families. By bringing together local and international communities, the festival promotes cultural preservation, youth empowerment, artistic expression, and cross-cultural understanding while strengthening New Orleans' vibrant cultural identity.
