About this Event
Feel Better! Letter Workshop
Join SOPEN Hamilton for a fun and interactive workshop where we'll explore the power of written words to uplift spirits and spread positivity! Whether you're feeling down or just want to brighten someone's day, this event is for you. Our volunteers will provide the option to drop off your letters at Men's Addiction Service Hamilton (MASH), Womankind Addiction Service, and Salvation Army Booth Centre located in Hamilton, ON. Our goal is to provide words of encouragement for folks struggling with mental health and/or substance use related challenges. Letters can take shape in different forms - from poems, short words of encouragement, long heart-felt passages, or drawings of positivity. There is a letter for everyone to be made. We just ask you to keep in mind to create letters for individuals of varying reading abilities.
We will also be accepting digital letters to [email protected]. We will accept any winter clothing donations for Unsheltered's winter clothing drive at the event.
Location: Solidarity Place Worker Education Centre, Adair Avenue South, Hamilton, ON, Canada
