About this Event
What is the Feeding the Hungry Event?
Feeding the Hungry is a community driven effort to cultivate a safe space for those in need within the Gainesville, FL community to encourage health and wellness within our community. The Feeding the Hungry program is operating under the Health Education and Training Center of Gainesville, Inc (H.E.A.T.) and is sponsored by Panera Bread, Publix. The community enjoys free wellness such as; free mental health screenings, yoga/meditation, food, and free hair styling.
This event will have local vendors that will conduct FREE wellness services to the community ONCE a year. A this event we offer the follwing for free:
- Yoga Meditation
- Wellness Screenings

- 12:00-1:00pm Free food distribution
- 12:45pm-1:15pm Diaper Distribution
- 2: 15pm- 2:30pm Kids Yoga

Info: We will be giving away size 1-6 diapers at the event. Please be sure to register so we have an accurate headcount of how many community members to service. The diapers are first come first serve.
