🎨 Aboriginal Art Workshop with Marra Dreaming

Join us for a relaxed and interactive Aboriginal Art Workshop facilitated by Marra Dreaming, where art meets storytelling and culture.

In this session, you’ll have the opportunity to:

• Paint on canvas while learning about Aboriginal art styles, symbols, and meanings
• Engage in a narrative approach to learning, where artists share stories and cultural knowledge behind their work
• Explore and interact with a collection of traditional Aboriginal artefacts, including boomerangs, coolamons, clapsticks, ochre paints, woven baskets, shell necklaces, emu feathers, and kangaroo skin

The workshop is designed to be informal and hands-on, allowing everyone to participate at their own pace. Activities will rotate so that each participant can try different experiences, including basket weaving.

This is a unique opportunity to learn directly from Aboriginal artists, deepen your understanding of culture, and engage respectfully with traditions through creative practice.
