Double Finalist in this year’s Australian Folk Music Awards (AFMAs) for Best Solo Artist and “The People’s Choice Award”, Enda Kenny is an Irish-born songwriter who has made his home in Australia.
Through ten independent albums, his thoughtful, descriptive stories have struck a chord with festival audiences worldwide. A string of early songwriting awards led to a full-time career as one of the best entertainers in the world of folk and acoustic music.
After returning from his recent UK Tour in June and July, Enda has delighted Australian audiences from WA’s Nanga Festival to Victoria’s Maldon Folk Festival and played two international mini tours in New Zealand. A string of shows on the East Coast of Australia will see him playing shows at the Newstead and Cobargo Folk Festivals, and concerts in Newcastle, Woy Woy, Illawarra, Sydney and Canberra.
He will be performing material from his back catalogue alongside tracks off his new album After The Interval – launched in March 2024. His songs are always memorable, often hard-hitting and spiced with plenty of humour.
