For Black History Month, we’re hosting author and historian Mark Clegg for a powerful conversation about his book The Crimson & Gold, which tells the story of school integration at Athens High and the groundbreaking impact it had on Black student-athletes. Join us as we dive into a pivotal moment in Athens’ civil rights and sports history, and stick around for a book signing with Mark!
History Hour with Historic Athens One Story is a free monthly education program. Our reoccurring program is the first Tuesday of the month at the Lyndon House Arts Center with complimentary lunch from Rashe's Cuisine provided on a first come, first serve basis with vegan options available.
