Welcome everyone! We are excited to return to an in-person event this year! The 2022 February Flora and Fauna Fest will be held at the 4th Avenue Food Park. We will have local vendors and UF clubs relating to flora and fauna! Grab an Opus coffee and a bite to eat from the other restaurants at the food park while you check out some insect related crafts or learn about plants and insects at the educational booths with activities for adults and children. Parking at the event is limited. Extra parking is available in downtown Gainesville or in the parking garage on 3rd street (normal parking fees apply). Street parking in the Porter's neighborhood is not allowed and cars may be towed.
This is a fundraising event and benefitting the Agrios Scholarship fund for Doctor of Plant Medicine students. DPM is an interdisciplinary program started right here at UF! Students learn about plant science, insects, and plant pathology. Come see what we are all about and have a blast while supporting your local gators!
