Feast of the Three Kings
About this Event
Feast of the Three Kings
The Feast of the Three Kings, also known as Día de los Reyes Magos or the Feast of the Epiphany, is a beautiful Christian celebration commemorating the visit of the Three Wise Men, Melchior, Gaspar, and Balthazar, to the infant Jesus in Bethlehem. Guided by a brilliant star, they traveled from distant lands to honor the newborn King, presenting Him with gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh.
Through St. Mary Church, this cherished tradition brings together children, families, and the entire faith community for a joyful celebration of love, generosity, unity, and cultural heritage.
The celebration offers a special opportunity for children to experience the meaning of the Epiphany through prayer, music, storytelling, gifts, and festive activities. It reminds us that the greatest gift of Christmas is Jesus Christ, whose light shines upon all nations and whose love embraces every person.
Deeply rooted in Hispanic and Latino traditions, Three Kings Day also provides an opportunity to preserve and share our cultural heritage with younger generations while strengthening their relationship with God.
At St. Mary Church, we believe that every child deserves to experience the joy of this beautiful tradition. Through the generosity of volunteers, families, sponsors, and community supporters, we strive to create lasting memories and bring happiness to children, especially those who may be experiencing financial or personal hardships.
Our mission is to celebrate faith, preserve tradition, inspire generosity, and share the love of Christ with every child and family.
Following the star, sharing the joy, and celebrating the greatest gift of all—Jesus Christ.
