Help make the holiday special for the pets in our care with our Feast for Furry Friends event! Kids 6 - 13 years old will have the opportunity to participate in hands-on activities and spread joy to our furry friends during the season of gratitude. On November 23, 2024, from 10 am - 12 pm, participants get the chance to:
-Use pet-friendly ingredients to create delicious Thanksgiving meals for our dogs.
-Distribute those meals right here at the Center, making sure our furry friends feel the holiday love!
-Enjoy a behind-the-scenes tour of the Center and a special meet-and-greet with adoptable cats and dogs.
In addition to the $10 entry fee, we ask that you bring a pet-friendly ingredient donation for this special Thanksgiving event to help ensure that every pet enjoys a festive holiday meal. Suggested items include:
-canned chicken
-peanut butter
-plain applesauce
-chicken or beef broth
-canned pumpkin
-canned veggies
Any extra donations will be put to good use in creating fun activities for our adoptable pets throughout the year.
