Fearless Defiance: Jewish Resistance in the Holocaust

Join the Tennessee Holocaust Commission as we explore the role of Jewish resistance in the Holocaust with Dr. Dave Snyder (Austin Peay University) and a special webinar presentation with Brendon Rennert, grandson of famed partisan fighter, Tuvia Bielski (portrayed by Daniel Craig in the 2008 film, Defiance.) This specially designed workshop will help teachers explore the role of Jewish resistance in their classrooms, and counter the idea that the Jewish people did not fight back against the Nazis.
