Fearless Abstract Painting invites you into a different kind of creative experience, one where there’s no right way, no finished outcome to chase, and no pressure to get it right.

Led by third-generation artist Samantha da Silva, this gathering introduces her signature approach to abstract painting: rollers instead of brushes, tables instead of easels, and an open invitation to move, layer, and explore.

Paint is poured, pushed, and lifted.

What unfolds is not just a painting, but a process.

Many of us are navigating the quiet space between doubt and trust—between the fear of being seen (or unseen) and the longing to belong fully in our own creative skin. This gathering meets you there.

Inside a gentle, heart-centered space, you’ll be guided through intention setting and a series of creative rituals designed to quiet the inner critic and awaken intuition. Through these practices—including Samantha’s “five rituals to clear your channel,” compassionate reflection, and learning when a piece feels complete—you’ll begin to trust your own creative voice again.

There’s space here to move, to make a mess, to follow what feels interesting, and to discover something unexpected along the way.

We’ll open the evening with a short Meet the Moment presence practice to help you arrive fully, then transition into guided exploration and open creation, allowing the experience to unfold organically, with support when you need it and freedom when you don’t.

We’ll close with a moment to reflect and integrate before transitioning out of the gathering.

Participants can expect to leave with:

• Permission to stay messy—trusting that the imperfect or unfinished mark is often exactly what’s needed

• A finished abstract piece created through your own intuitive process. Please note that your work may still be wet at the end. Plan ahead for transportation by bringing a clear space in your car trunk, and bring an old sheet, shower curtain, or protective layer to safely carry it home.
