FCI Obedience – Foundation (8-Week Course)
Date & time:
Starts Sunday 20 September, 11:00am
(Runs weekly, skipping 4 October — full dates below)
Location:
That'll Do Academy, LA2 9DN
Description:
Fancy trying something new with your dog? Join me for an 8-week beginner course in FCI Obedience — a sport that's been huge across Europe for years and is only just making its way into the UK.
I've been practising FCI Obedience for over 20 years, and I'm really excited to bring it to a wider audience here at the farm.
This beginner course is all about foundations — we'll be building the groundwork for heel-work, retrieve, send away, cone wrapping, and the other core exercises that everything else in this sport is built on.
What you need:
You don't need any previous sport training experience, but you should already have a good grounding in dog training basics. Dogs should ideally be comfortable working around other dogs in a class setting. Open to any breed and any age — puppies welcome!
Format:
A mix of group work and one-to-one attention, depending on the exercise and what your dog needs on the day. Sessions run indoors where needed, weather depending.
Dates:
20 & 27 September
11, 18 & 25 October
1, 8 & 15 November
Time:11:00am – 12:15pm each week
Price: £160 per handler (8 sessions)
**Spaces:** Strictly limited to 4 handlers, so everyone gets the time and attention they need to progress.
Interested in coming along? Or want to find out if this is the right fit for you and your dog? Send me a message here or email [email protected] and I'll get back to you!
