The Healing Power of Memory Consolidation

In this practical, faith-integrated workshop, you will learn:
1. What Memory Reconsolidation is and how it creates transformative change.
2. Through live modeling, video examples, and practical instruction, you will learn how to recognize the painful implicit emotional learnings beneath a client’s presenting symptoms and how to facilitate the CREs needed for memory reconsolidation. You will also receive a handout containing more than 20 simple, immediately usable CRE techniques that enhance virtually any counseling or coaching approach.
3. How MR and CREs fit with a biblical understanding of human transformation. The triune natureof God is fundamentally relational; human beings are created in God’s image, and Jesus repeatedly brought healing through deeply attuned and corrective relational encounters—with the woman at the well, Peter following his denial, the woman suffering from chronic bleeding, and the father and son portrayed in the Parable of the Prodigal Son.
