Free Comic Book Day (FCBD), one of the comic book industry’s most beloved and anticipated celebrations, will once again be a single-day event, scheduled to take place Saturday, August 14, 2021. The event, which traditionally takes place on the first Saturday in May, will be celebrated in August 2021 in the hopes that much of the uncertainty and disruption related to COVID-19 will have passed. This celebration marks the 20th Anniversary of Free Comic Book Day and for us here at The Zone it will be our 4th.
Free Comic Book Day 2021 will feature 50+ free titles being available for you to pick from. There is a limit of 2 Free Comics per person while supplies last.

It’s not just good for one item but for your entire purchase when you choose to use it except for our Comic Book Mystery Boxes due to them being a Community Fundraising Event for which we hope you can understand this one item being exempt. We will be posting more as this event gets near.
So far we have scheduled Fox Foot Crafts to be here (if things are in a better place for South GA) from 1:00pm to 5:00pm to do Free Custom Black & White with a splash of color Sketch Cards for our valued customers. She will also have some other custom items for sale if you are interested.
We have also invited everyone's favorite Intergalactic Cos-Players to help us celebrate this event with us and help promote our Comic Book Mystery Box Sale which is the last Major Fundraiser for this year for both The Tifton Soup Kitchen & Peanut Butter and Jesus. If they can make it we are looking at them being here from 11am-2pm.
We will also be having drawings every hour on the hour, no purchase required all you have to do is stop by that day and fill our a registration slip to enter.
Drawings will be as follows:
11:00 am, Noon,1:00 pm, 2:00 pm, 3:00pm, 4:00pm, 5:00pm, and 6:00pm which makes a total of 8 prizes we will be giving away.
***FCBD Hourly Drawing Give-A-Way Update***
The Boss Lady is happy to announce the details about Our FCBD Give-A-Ways for Saturday the 14th.
...First she has decided that starting tomorrow Friday the 13th thru 5:45pm Saturday the 14th you can stop by The Zone and fill out a registration slip for Saturdays Give-A-Ways. No purchase required and only one entry per person for this events Give-A-Ways. Winners will be notified and will need to stop by The Zone to pick up their prizes (we will not send these items out they will need to be picked up).
...Second starting Saturday the 14th we will draw a winner every hour from 11am - 6pm making for 8 items being given away.

We will as always be having Themed Packaged Cookies such as Avengers Shortbread, Minions, Scooby-Doo Graham Cracker Snacks, Pokemon Mini Chips Ahoy, and Pokemon Mini Oreos, along with DC Heroes Hershey Bars.
For the kids we will be giving away not only comics but also Character Mini Play Packs which have an Activity Book, some Mini Crayons, and a Sticker.
Our hope is to have a very safe, healthy, and fun community event open to the public.
