Little Fernwood Building BeesThis fall, as the rains come and it’s time for indoor activities, we’re going to give the Little Fernwood Building at 1921-1923 Fernwood Rd. some TLC. We’re doing this so it can better meet the needs of the community and continue to serve as an affordable, accessible community programming space. You’re invited to join us! We’re having two work parties:
Sunday November 10th 1:00-4:00pm
Skilled tradespeople (carpenters, plumbers etc) and/or people with skills are needed to volunteer to help prepare for the main community work party the next week. At this pre-work work party we’ll:
Prep the walls for painting in the Paul Phillips Hall, the hall washrooms and the upstairs meeting room/small cultural space (tentatively named “Little Gladstone Studio)
Remove the old kitchen area in the Paul Phillips Hall to prepare for a refreshed kitchenette
Help build the new kitchenette
Other small odd jobs
