FBC LA Summertime Social Part 2
About this Event
EVENT DETAILS:
Join Feminist Bird Club LA for a bird sit at Lewis MacAdams Riverfront Park! We're all so very tired so we're just gonna lay or sit on the grass, or a picnic bench, chit chat, maybe eat some snacks, and see what birds come our way!
Just bring yourself, a blanket and/or camp chair if you like, and maybe a hat if it's sunny. Snacks to share are also welcome but certainly not required! 🦆🦅🦜
If the group feels like it, we may venture towards the bikepath along the LA River to see what birds are out and about. There may also be an optional stop at Frogtown Brewery after the event.
PARKING INSTRUCTIONS:
The parking lot for the park is accessible through Gleneden or Rosanna Street. If you have trouble finding us, please text Taylor at 213-444-6823
ACCESSIBILITY:
There are decomposed granite paths around the park, and we'll try to find a shady picnic spot that is easily accessible and close to the parking lot. We will not be moving around the park as a group, so we can stay put and eat snacks. There are restrooms available around the park, but we can't make any promises about their cleanliness. If you have any questions about accessibility or ideas for how we can improve accessibility, please reach out.
