About this Event

We are excited to collaborate with @urbancommunityagrinomics on an outing to their Catawba Trail Farm. UCAN will give us a tour and story of the land and their work, and then we’ll do some birding.

To protect native plants, we’re capping the number of attendees at 20, so please rsvp at the link in our bio—but only if you can definitely come!

UCAN, founded in 2016 by sisters Delphine Godley Sellars and Lucille Godley Patterson, engages the community of Northern Durham with skills based in agriculture and provides a place for those within the community to have access to fresh fruits and vegetables. UCAN has donated over 60,000lbs of fresh vegetables and fruits and provides opportunities for a diverse group of board members and volunteers.

A partnership with Triangle Land Conservancy (TLC) led to a User License Agreement, resulting in the creation and development of the Catawba Trail Farm.

***Whether or not you can make it, please support UCAN's work at https://www.ucan.today/donate. (And then drop us a note so we can track our reach.)***
