Get ready to play some poker with a twist! This is a Poker Run! You will start off at I-95 Muscle in Hope Mills NC and will end at North South Brewery in Fayetteville. You will need a dependable vehicle to go to 5 stops and pick up a playing card at each stop. The total distance is less than 20 miles that you will travel. It is also not a race but you will need to complete all of the stops by 5:00 so you can meet at North South Brewery to turn in your hand. You will get your first card at I-95 muscle and last card at North South Brewery. The other 3 stops will be listed with their addresses on a map given to you at I-95 muscle. Once you have your 5 card hand, you will be allowed to draw and replace one card by collecting the business cards at 3 of 5 of the businesses. The best hand wins the jackpot! The jackpot amount will depend on the amount of participants registered. To register, you must have a valid drivers license, must have a mode of transportation and pay the $10 registration fee. Proceeds from this event will go to St. Jude’s. You must register at www.highrollerscarcommunity.com and registration must be done before the start of the event. If you register the day of the event, the organizers will charge a $5 additional fee. This is a rain or shine event.
There will be a car meet and birthday bash after in the parking lot of North South Brewery. If you choose to drink at the Brewery, please drink responsibly. We are not responsible or held liable for anyone that drinks. We are allowing drivers of all ages to participate in the poker run BUT no one under the age of 21 will be permitted into the Brewery. NO UNDERAGED DRINKING PERMITTED!
There is no drinking permitted while driving to each business! It is our recommendation that you have a DD! To see the full rules, visit the website and if you have any questions, you can reach out to the organizers for the event.
There will be a meet after the poker run and if you choose to go to the meet, it starts at 5:30 at North South Brewery. You do not have to participate in the Poker Run to join up for the meet!
