On Saturday, April 18, 2026, the Fayette County Youth Council will host its annual Economic Empowerment Workshop at the Fayette County Library, beginning at 2:00 PM. This engaging and educational event is designed to equip young people with essential financial literacy skills that will empower them to make smart economic choices for their future.
This year, the Youth Council is proud to welcome Delta Credit Union as a featured guest. Representatives from the bank will provide valuable financial materials and insights tailored specifically for youth, covering topics such as budgeting, saving, banking basics, and building financial independence. In addition, information on youth joining the credit union for $5 and scholarship opportunities will be shared.
The workshop promises to be an informative and interactive experience, encouraging participants to take charge of their financial futures with confidence and knowledge.

- Borrowing
- Using credit
