This class covers both essential and advanced paddling strokes in the comfort of a cozy warm and dry building. Participants will be using paddles and will learn proper techniques needed to execute effective strokes. The benefit of learning strokes on dry land is one can see exactly what the blade is supposed to be doing because it is not submerged in the water out of sight. The instructor is also able to give participants immediate feedback and stand next to you, if necessary, to show you the nuances to perfect a whole variety of strokes. This is a very interactive class and provides the opportunity to ask lots of questions, and progress at their own paceIncludes: Equipment and Instruction (If you love your paddle, feel free to bring it!)
Time: 9am – 12pm
