About this Event
Explore 3-color printing on the Risograph at The Soapbox! In this advanced workshop, perfect for those looking to print photos, learn how to prepare digital files for faux-process color printing. Over 4 hours we'll cover the intricacies of file prep, color separation, image editing, screening options, and more. Prior Risograph printing experience is highly recommended. BYO device with either Spectrolite, Photoshop, Procreate, or other image editing software required. All students will leave with 30 copies of their art, plus assorted extra print samples. This workshop is aimed at the experienced Risograph artist interested in diving deep into the technical aspects of color separation. All materials are provided with materials fee included in the ticket price.
$75 for Current Members of the Soapbox/$80 for Non-Members. Students will also be charged a $15 materials fee that covers stencil paper, ink, paper, and studio maintenance.
About the Instructors
Nate Regnier-Lange is a printmaker and risographer and runs All Purpose Press in Lansdale, PA. allpurpose.press
Dre Grigoropol is an illustrator and multimedia artist. She is a graduate of Moore College of Art and Design. Dre has years of digital art teaching experience. She has a deep passion for arts and creativity, enjoys painting, is involved in numerous artist groups and is a board member at the Soapbox. For more go to Dretime.net
