Some days, even getting out of bed is a big achievement. And everyday achievements like this- no matter how big or small- should be celebrated!Join us in a free Father’s Day laser cutting workshop at Oodi, where we will make badges for our everyday achievements. Drop by the Urban Workshop (2nd floor) any time between 13.00 - 17.00. No registration required!
In the workshop, you will first create your design with pen & paper. Then, we'll use the laser cutter to transform it into a wooden badge!
The event is suitable for both children (5+) and adults. The host speaks English and Turkish. Visual instructions with Finnish & English text will also be available. Making one badge takes around 30 minutes. There will be enough material for 50 participants.
The workshop is hosted by designer and maker Burak Türköz. He facilitates makerspace workshops for children and adults, focusing on arts and design.
